2008 EQUINE ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION PRICING

CHUTE FEE (Shipped or frozen semen)
$ 270.00 for the first cycle and $165.05 for each additional cycle.

Chute fee includes daily ultrasounds, contacting stallion farm* for semen shipments, inseminating the mare as well as one follow-up ultrasound at approximately 16-18 days post ovulation.
Chute fee does NOT include boarding of the mare and/or foal, breeding soundness examinations, uterine biopsy, uterine lavages, medications, etc.

*Shipping charges for semen from stallion farm are not included in chute fee. Owner must make all arrangements with stallion farm to stallion services prior to mare arriving at Breda-Lake View Veterinary Services.. We will call for semen shipments at appropriate time.

**Fresh cooled semen or frozen semen may be used.

A copy of the mare’s registration papers should accompany her to the clinic. Vaccinations should be up to date before the mare is to arrive at our facility.
